Baby naming ceremonies
Honouring a little one with their chosen name and sharing this with friends, family and community is an age old tradition.
We offer delightful naming ceremonies full of fun and laughter keeping even the littlest guests enthralled and involved for just the right amount of time!
They say it takes a village to raise a family and so we ask you to choose four elemental mentors for the ceremony, as part of your close support network. They will be invited to share their promises, hopes, wishes and blessings for your little one.
In the presence all, you declare your promises and roles that you will take your child’s life, strengthening the bonds of family and community.
Adult Naming Ceremonies
Why would a grown up need a naming ceremony?
Well the reasons are many and varied – they’re definitely not just for children and babies.
- You might want to step fully into your married name
- or let go after divorce and reclaim your birth name
- Some people have never felt comfortable with their given name, like it never quite ‘fit’.
- Others choose, or are gifted, a new name and the ceremonial space allows them to fully claim that new identity.
Whatever the reason we are here to create a bespoke ceremony to honour you and your new moniker.
Pet Naming Ceremonies
This a beautiful way of introducing the new family member to your friends and family, and it is also a good excuse to have a celebration!
Any animal welcome, no pet too big or small.
This is a mini ceremony to celebrate your pet joining your household.
You can name your pet and even involve the family members – perhaps get them to pledge walks and treats!
You can also choose to appoint guardians for your pet – so you know they’ll be looked after.
